Dura-Line is a global manufacturer of
HDPE conduit and pipe systems with 18
plants located in eight countries providing
conduit and pipe products to the telecom,
broadband, CATV, electrical, transportation,
power utility, campus, military, agricultural,
industrial/municipal, renewable energy, and
oil and gas gathering markets.
Dura-Line is leading the way in MicroTech-
nology, a system that includes MicroDucts,
accessories, placing equipment, micro fiber
cable, and complete field technical resources
to support the design and installation.
Why are so many builders of fiber net-
works using MicroTechnology? By “microsiz-
ing” builders are realizing savings in material,
shipping and handling, installation, and
labor. Micro fiber cables are lightweight,
easy-to-handle, and can be placed long dis-
tances quickly, thereby reducing or eliminat-
ing splice or slack points. Box sizes, if needed
at all, can be cut in size by two-thirds. Reels
are smaller and lighter, making material
handling and shipping easier.
MicroTechnology products can be
installed by traditional methods of plowing,
boring, trenching, or placing as an innerduct.
No special equipment is needed. MicroTech-
nology is also compatible with micro-trench-
ing and MDU installations.
Dura-Line’s MicroTechnology products
can be used from the central office directly
to the home as well as in long-haul and
back-haul applications. MicroTechnology
is the answer for FTTH. Dura-Line’s Micro-
Technology installations are supported by
Dura-Line’s field design and engineering
teams that work support assist any and all
installations. And once installed, Dura-Line’s
MicroTechnology allows for future expansion
without construction!
It’s time to see why users and builders of
fiber networks are moving to MicroTech-
nolgy. Contact Dura-Line to learn more.

CASE N Series backhoes (the 580N, 580
Super N, 580 Super N Wide Track, and 590
Super N backhoe loaders) feature 3.4-liter,
turbocharged engines, ranging from 78
horsepower in the 580N to 108 horsepower
in the 590SN. The Tier 4 Interim-certified en-
gine burns cleaner while delivering superior
horsepower, faster response, and a minimum
of 5 percent better fuel efficiency under load.
N Series backhoes offer the industry-
exclusive Power Lift feature that channels the
hydraulic power directly to the boom with
the touch of a button. N Series backhoes also
feature optional automatic Ride Control on
four-wheel-drive models. Automatic Ride
Control engages at roading speeds (selected
by the operator) to help reduce bucket spill-
age.
CASE N Series backhoes also deliver more
power to the loader, for increased breakout
and lift capabilities. The loader arms are
stronger and longer, providing greater loader
reach. This lets operators dump material into
