TT Technologies
The Grundowinch line of hydrostatic
constant-tension winches from TT Technolo-
gies are specially designed for the variable
conditions in below-grade work. All models
feature protective cable storage and are
available with an air-cooled diesel or gas en-
gine, as well as an adjustable boom system.
Portable and powerful, Grundowinch is well-
suited for underground utility construction
applications including underground cable
pulling, pipe bursting, sliplining, pipe pulling,
and swage lining.
The constant-tension design feature
means any cable slack is immediately sensed
and quickly taken up automatically. This
makes for an ideal winch for sensitive opera-
tions. Control is easy with a number of con-
venience and operational features such as
single-lever tension control (no gears to
engage), power assisted winch line feed,
and winch controls located at the rear of
the unit to provide a safe view of the job
while operating.
TT Technologies offers nine models of
Grundowinch constant tensions winches
ranging in pulling capacities from 1.5 tons
to 20 tons. A 3-ton hydrostatic Grundow-
inch is ideal for pulling CCTV and cable
through innerduct. The Grundowinch
can pull up to 3,280 feet of 3/8-inch cable
at pulling speeds of up to 160 feet per
minute. In addition to a 3-ton pulling capac-
ity, the winch offers infinite speed control
throughout the pulling range. The 3-ton
winch is compact and highly portable for
pulling in easements and backyards.
The compact Grundodrill 4X is ideal for
the installation of conduit for power and
last-mile applications. The Grundodrill 4x
offers 9,800 pounds of thrust and pullback.
Using the compact drill is less intrusive and
ideal for areas where larger units are not an
option.
Condux International
The APS75 Hydraulic Underground Cable
Puller from Condux International provides
up to 7,500 pounds of continuous pulling
power to tackle a comprehensive range of
pulling applications. Designed for installing
underground cable, the APS75 is completely
self-contained and transports
easily from jobsite to jobsite.
The digital readout allows
the operator to view pulling
forces, distance pulled, ten-
sion limiter, and hydraulic
pressure readings. Pulling
operations can be recorded
and downloaded through a
convenient USB port. With
other standard features
including antitwist rope,
rotating pulling arm, and
wired remote control, the
APS75 is one of the most advanced pulling
systems available. The APS75 is precision
manufactured to the highest standards. Each
puller is backed with years of underground
cable pulling experience and a commitment
to quality customer service.
The Mini-Blower/Pusher from Condux is
the lightweight, portable solution for the
installation of micro fiber and traditional fiber
optic cable. The compact unit is designed
for difficult jobsites and enterprise and last-
mile fiber installations. The unit’s updated
design has made operation easier than ever,
allowing the user to drive the system with
a cordless, corded, or pneumatic drill. The
universal stem provides for both right-side
and left-side connections for forward drive
and reverse drive.
The Mini-Blower/Pusher’s machined alu-
minum construction provides a lightweight
profile with long life and durability. The unit
can install fiber optic cables with diameters
from 0.23 to 0.50 inches into micro duct or
traditional duct from 0.50 to 1.5 inches. The
unit can be further configured to push/install
duct rod into conduit and inner duct.
