The 36127R includes a 360-degree con-
tinuous rotation mechanism and two sets of
out-and-down outriggers with removable
ball socket aluminum pads for maximum
efficiency.
The 36127R allows operators to work
safely using the Hirschmann LMI, and Elliott’s
Lifetime Structural Warranty boosts owner-
ship value. The 32- to 49-foot, two-piece
friction-free jib offers extended reach, and
the aluminum tread plate bed wings provide
improved weight savings and corrosion pro-
tection. Users can deploy in tighter spaces
with a 14-foot 6-inch mid-span and 21-foot
2-inch full-span outrigger spread.
Owners can decide on a variety of control
configurations for the 36127R Boom Truck.
The crane comes standard with Elliott’s pat-
ented Ride-Around Control Console, giving
operators a clear view of the load without
the extra cost of a crane cab. The model is
also available with all-weather open-seated
controls or an enclosed cab with optional
A/C.
Elliott’s 36127R also features a wide range
of aerial work platforms for positioning
people, from gravity-hung and rotating work
platforms to yoke-mounted configurations
for utility work. Each platform style mounts
interchangeably onto either the boom tip or
the jib tip for a maximum working height of
approximately 186 feet depending on the
work platform. Elliott’s proportional wireless
remote controls give users precise control
and confidence needed when working at
substantial heights.
Kirby-Smith Machinery
National Cranes has introduced a new and
diverse large-capacity boom truck. The
NBT55 series boom truck is the largest capac-
ity boom truck to date from National Crane,
available in 50 and 55 USt versions. The crane
boasts fully integrated machine control and
LMI, a first for the boom truck market. The
crane also includes a new outrigger beam
position sensing system to aid in load chart
selection.
Another unique design point is that the
NBT 55 comes with a removable counter-
weight. This is the first time a National Crane
has been designed in this manner. It allows
operators to move the weight around on the
machine to help comply with local highway
regulations. Even with the counterweight
removed, the NBT 55 has a very strong zero
counterweight chart.
Kirby-Smith Machinery has been servicing
the crane and construction/highway indus-
try for more than 29 years and is recognized
as one of the premier heavy construction
equipment and crane dealers in the country.
Kirby-Smith has service locations in Abilene,
Amarillo, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Lubbock, Kansas
City, Odessa, Oklahoma City, St. Louis, and
Tulsa. Komatsu, Wirtgen Group, Manitowoc
Cranes, DoppstadtUS, Bomag, Atlas Copco,
and Gradall are just a few of the premier
products the company services.

John Deere
John Deere’s new K-Series Backhoe Loaders
consist of seven productive and efficient
models (310K EP, 310K, 310SK, 310SK TC,
410K, 410K TC, 710K) that build on the suc-
cess of the popular J-Series.
Powered by a certified IT4/Stage III B
John Deere PowerTech engine, the K-Series
comes equipped with a five-speed trans-
mission that allows top
speeds of 25 mph when
roading. An optional
AutoShift transmission
enables smooth shifting
and improves operator
comfort by reducing
the number of times
the transmission control
lever needs to be actu-
ated during operation. A
single loader lever with integrated electro-
hydraulic auxiliary loader control eliminates
the need for a second lever when using a
multi-purpose bucket. A complete redesign
of the cab ventilation now circulates cab air
from front-to-back, directing airflow where
operators need it the most.
Enhancements were also made to John
Deere’s industry exclusive Total Machine
Control backhoes. Updates include a joystick
redesign that gives operators even easier
operation with equal lever efforts in all
directions for smooth and productive opera-
tion as well as improved swing control that
allows for more precise trench work with less
backhoe wag.
To protect the machine on the jobsite,
backhoe loaders with a Sealed Switch
Model come standard with machine security.
Differential Lock Protection can easily be
enabled through the monitor and prevents
potential damage from the rear differential
lock being engaged at too high of speeds. In
an effort to lower daily operating costs, John
Deere is providing smart technology with
auto idle, auto shutdown, and keyless start.
These three features come standard on all
machines equipped with SSM.
