Spouse Outing to Tin City
10 am - 12 pm
Spouses are encouraged to get a good night’s sleep on Monday
and wear their most comfortable shoes on Tuesday morning
for the super shopping excursion to Tin City, Naples’ original
shopping sensation. Here, in a setting that recalls Naples’
nautical past, you’ll find more than 40 creative boutiques and
great restaurants. Originally a 1920s clam shelling and oyster
processing plant, Tin City retains the rustic, maritime spirit
of what was once the center of Naples’ fishing industry. Even
today, Tin City’s quaint boardwalks, tin-topped buildings, and
bayfront shops and eateries overlook the working docks of
Naples Bay. Authentically Naples, Tin City lets you discover
local treasures of yesterday and today. Tin City is a distinctive
shopping experience
that you won’t find
anywhere else.
There are no chain
operations in Tin
City; the shopkeepers
are all local business
people who scour
the market to find
merchandise that is
appealing to locals as
well as to visitors.
Construction Industry Roundtable
9:15 am - 12 pm
Many PCCA members make their decision to attend the
PCCA Convention each year based primarily on the valuable
information gleaned from the Construction Industry
Roundtable. This fast-paced and frank discussion moves
through the various sectors of power and communications
construction and elicits thoughtful insights and candid
opinions from contractors and suppliers working throughout
North America as well as from experts representing the
government, engineering, insurance, and legal sectors.
Everglades Eco Tour
12:15 - 4:15 pm
Experience the fascination and mystique of one of the most
beautifully diverse areas in the world—the Everglades—on an
amazing airboat ride through the “River of Grass” and a tour
through the Big Cypress National Preserve with expert guides.
On the drive in, the guides provide full-narration of the
Everglades,
including the
distinct eco-
systems, precious
wildlife, and
the history of
the Seminole
trading business.
Then we journey
into nature’s
secretly preserved
wilderness aboard Safari airboats. Watch the alligators as they
lay in the warm sun, snakes as they quietly slither through the
mangroves, or manatees as they raise their elusive heads out of
the water for a breath of fresh air. Birds of all kinds feed along
the shores.
The Big Cypress National Preserve is a federal land
holding of 729,000 acres of cypress strands, wet prairies, and
pinelands. We will drive along the Turner River Road canal.
As a one-way-in, one-way-out route, the roadway has become
a great viewing platform for the wildlife activities along the
canal.
Comfortable, casual clothing with walking shoes, sunscreen,
and hats are recommended.
$170 per person, includes roundtrip transportation, box lunch, bottled
water, tour guides, service charges, and gratuities.
Backcountry Fishing Excursion
12:30 - 5:30 pm

great fishing on this

the beautiful backwaters
of the Gulf. The Captain
takes you through the
brackish waters of the
mangrove forests looking
for mangrove snapper,
trout, redfish, sheephead,
snook, and tarpon—“The
Silver King.” Backwater
fishing ensures plenty of action and fun for all! (Backwater
fishing is limited to 4 passengers per vessel.)
Comfortable, casual clothing and sunscreen are
recommended.
$799 for four people, includes roundtrip transportation, captain, crew,

Tommy Bahama Beach Party
6:30 - 9:00 pm
Imagine a weekend that never ends...where the food is good,
the beaches are hot, and the mood is relaxed. A warm westerly
breeze rustles the palms while the lulling roar of crashing
waves signifies the celebration of beachfront living...Tommy
Bahama style. This laid-back state of mind elevates the act
of relaxation to a fine art and provides a perfect backdrop for
PCCA’s closing party.
