Dura-Line
Dura-Line had an exciting year including
the acquisition of PolyPipe, a pressure pipe
manufacturer. The company now has 11
plants in North America and 7 overseas, and
it can manufacture HDPE pipe and conduit
from 5 mm to 65 inches.
In North America, Dura-Line services the
telco, CATV, electrical, transportation, power
utility, agricultural, industrial/municipal, oil and
gas gathering, geothermal, renewable energy,
gas distribution, and enterprise markets.
Dura-Line is leading the way with Micro-
Technology. It has designed products for both
indoor and OSP applications. The sizes range
from 5 to 18mm in diameter and are made of
HDPE, Riser, or Plenum rated materials.
Dura-Line’s Micro products are available
as single MicroDucts, bundles of MicroD-
ucts, called FuturePath, and web-connected
bundled Ducts, FuturePath Flex. FuturePath
also comes in an armored and aerial configu-
ration. Standard FuturePath
products include a locate wire
for easy detection in the field.
Fiber construction costs
can be decreased throughout
the installation process by
utilizing the many advantages
of MicroTechnology. The size
of MicroTechnology products
offers smaller reels, saving money in both
transportation and storage. The pedestal
size can be smaller, and fewer boxes and
pedestals are required. MicroFiber cables are
easy and fast to install. The MicroDucts and
MicroFiber are smaller and take up less space
in enclosures. MicroTechnology products
can be used in any OSP application where
traditional products are currently used.
Dura-Line Enterprise FuturePath products
are specially designed for MDU Applications.
Either Riser or Plenum rated, these products
provide a permanent pathway for fiber
cordage making installation and repair or
upgrade simple.
The versatile FuturePath Flex product, con-
figured with 2, 4, or 6 MicroDucts, is flat in
design and suitable to install into narrow slits
or saw cuts. The product can also be “rolled
up” for pulling into conduits or directionally
drilled.

Pelsue Company
When crews are down in the trenches and
have to be prepared to get the job done
even in the nastiest of weather conditions,
Pelsue’s Trench Tent has them covered. The
trench tent sets up in 1 to 5 minutes, and
it has openings at both ends for access, no
loose parts, and a one-piece construction
with no interior obstructions. Workers can
interconnect two tents together to make
them as big as needed.
The Pelsue Trench Tent is available in three
standard sizes. They offer protection from the
elements during trenching and are ideal for
welding or boring operations.
Pelsue keeps work crews and their equip-
ment safe and dry every day no matter the
weather. Pelsue tents are the original work
tents with a one-piece integral skin and frame
construction that provides a clear work area
because there are no center poles. Fabrics are
water and mildew resistant, with urethane-
coated polyester. They are lightweight and
have a long life in hot or cold climates. Non-
corrosive hardware is used for all the fastening
devices. Fiberglass rods and Pelsue’s patented
hub system are used in construction for opti-
mum strength and flexibility.
