of drilling experience and has successfully
drilled more than 4 billion feet of pilot hole.
As the industry grew, drilling in rock
formations became more prevalent, leading
Sharewell to develop a hole opener that
could be used to cut multiple hole sizes on
a single body while limiting the amount of
torque the drilling rig would be subjected
to. This was the birth of the LoTorque hole
opener.
Sharewell has earned its customers’ trust
by consistently delivering reliability, innova-
tion, and performance while maintaining fair
prices since it was established in 1985.
Sharewell’s operations are now run from its
new facility in Spring, Tex. (North Houston
area).

Tesmec USA
Since its foundation in 1984, Tesmec USA
Inc. has been building hard rock trenchers to
operate day in and day out under extreme
conditions. The very first model produced
was so successful that it became the choice
for hard rock cutting by contractors working
for major utility companies worldwide. With
the heavy construction and the drive train
design, these trenchers are the ideal choice
for the most difficult conditions. Tesmec is
involved in the whole product design phase;
part of fabrication and machine components
are outsourced, the entire product assembly
is performed at the company’s facility in
Alvarado, Tex.
Tesmec produces only the highest quality
trenchers. It has four different technologies
available: rocksaw, chainsaw, bucket, and
rock hawg. Machines feature high-perfor-
mance gearboxes, top-quality engines, and
solid steel components. Tesmec has replaced
the large, high-energy consumption gearbox
with a flywheel gearbox like those used for
locomotives to store kinetic energy to deliver
three times the horsepower on an instan-
taneous basis to the cutting attachment.
This design keeps the digging attachment
running smoothly through the hard spots.
Tesmec trenchers come standard with CAT
engines and are designed for all-weather
conditions and proven to operate in high
temperatures. All models are equipped with
elevating cabs to improve visibility, protect
the operator in case of rollover, and provide a
high level of comfort thanks to A/C, heating,
sound suppression, shock absorbent suspen-
sion seat, and isolator mounts.
Tesmec USA Inc. offers rent-to-purchase
options, direct sale, long-term leases, and
short-term rentals.
