contractors and suppliers working
throughout North America as
well as from experts representing
the government, engineering,
insurance, and legal sectors.
This year’s roundtable
features a short presentation
and commentary from FMI’s
Chris Daum. Chris is a principal
in FMI’s Investment Banking
practice. He advises clients
on strategic business issues involving mergers and
acquisitions in the telecom and utility infrastructure
markets and works with firms undergoing internal
transitions of ownership and management across all
industry sectors.
Waterfront Boat-Building Challenge
12:30 - 3 pm
Nothing gets the PCCA crowd more revved up than
some friendly—and sometimes less than friendly—
competition! This year we head for Buccaneer Island
for an unspoiled slice of Caribbean beach life, a
little bit of team building, and a whole lot of fun.
Each team receives an odd assortment of “building”
materials from which to build a boat and then gets to
race it against the competition out on the open water.
To succeed, you’ll need sharp thinking and precise
execution; to have a great time and share a bunch of
laughs, you just need to show up.
Auction Reception
6 - 7 pm
Not as raucous as the Live Auction to follow, the Silent
Auction and Reception are filled with cocktails, hors
d’ouevres, good times with friends, and some low-key
bidding.......until the deadline nears, then it’s everyone
for themselves!
Auction & Dinner
7 - 10 pm
Every year, the PCCA Auction is where association
members revel like it’s New Year’s Eve and bid on a
variety of fabulous trips, tools, tickets, jewelry, junkets,
equipment, and much, much more. All proceeds go
directly to building programs and services for PCCA
members, so everyone is encouraged to bid early and
often and to have a great time.

Annual Associates Exhibit & Breakfast
7:30 - 11 am
PCCA’s manufacturer and supplier members host the
10th Annual Associates Exhibit & Breakfast. At the
request of Contractor members, we added an hour
to the exhibit to give them a chance to peruse the
displays, meet with vendors, discuss jobsite issues, and
learn about the industry’s latest products and services
in a very relaxed atmosphere.
Exhibit Wrap-up & Associates Meeting
11:15 - 11:45 am
PCCA’s Associate members, officers, and staff engage
in a roundtable discussion of topics that affect
manufacturers and suppliers in our industry. We will
also review the just-completed Associates Exhibit and
other convention activities and discuss ways they can
be improved to further benefit everyone involved.
Exhibit Teardown
11 am - 8 pm
Annual PCCA Golf Tournament
12:30 - 6 pm
The Ocean Reef’s Hammock Course provides a
picturesque and challenging setting for the PCCA
Tournament, a scramble-format event that is better
known for its joke-making than its shot-making.
The par-71 course runs through a beautiful tropical
hardwood hammock and is famous for its scenic vistas
and rare and endangered plantlife, but with water
hazards on 14 holes, the course demands a great deal
of accuracy....or at least a lot of golf balls.
$175 inlcudes cart,box lunch,sleeve of balls,transportation,and taxes
