Wheel bearing reservoir - Check regularly
Wear items:

Trailer brakes - Inspect and replace if worn

Payout brake pads - Inspect and replace if worn
3.
Levelwind guide rollers - Clean all rollers and make sure
they all roll freely
4.
Overhead line stringing swivels - Inspect and be sure they
rotate freely and the pins are in good working condi-
tion and free of damage, i.e. bent, cracked, dented, etc.
Replace if necessary.
5.
Pulling rope - Inspect frequently, looking for broken
or worn areas on the rope as well as any splices, and
remember to swap ends on the rope on a regular basis to
help extend the life of the rope.
6.
Rope grip - Inspect the grip and make sure it is free from
broken strands and rust. If the grip is taped, remove the
tape after every use and replace before the stringing op-
eration begins.
