An often-overlooked aspect of determining the appropriate

price for construction work is a review of the terms of the

construction contract, which can have a profound impact

on the costs of construction and the payment therefor. This

article provides a short list of the more important terms

and conditions found in many construction contracts and

subcontracts to which the contractor should at least pay

attention in the pre-bid stage of construction contracting.
