tion of wire and cable for the renewable en-
ergy industry (wind and solar) and to electric
utilities responsible for power generation,
transmission, and distribution.
AWG has material in stock and ready for
immediate shipment from either its West
Coast or East Coast warehouses. AWG of-
fers a complete line of collection system
underground cables in 15KV-35KV TR-XLPE/
EPR, overhead bare aluminum T&D conduc-
tors (ACSR/AAAC/AAC), industrial power
cables, bare copper conductor, copper clad
steel, static wire, guy wire, aluminum clad
steel, substation control cables, fiber optic
cables & hardware, and OPGW. Exclusive for
its medium voltage line, AWG also stocks TE/
Raychem products. To support the growth
of the solar power industry, AWG stocks
aluminum PV cable in 600V and 2kV for use
on DC collection systems. Copper PV cable is
also available.
AWG’s accumulated experience spans
more than 100 combined years in the wire
and cable industry. With inventory over $6
million in warehouses across the U.S., AWG
can respond to the most urgent requests—
in hours not days. Combined with an exten-
sive manufacturing capability, AWG handles
projects both large and small. As a result,
AWG makes it easier and less expensive as a
complete solution for all cable needs.
Let AWG be your “powerful solution.”

As a leading
provider of ca-
ble installation
tools, Condux
International
continues to
expand upon its
line of fiber optic cable blowing equipment,
the Gulfstream series of fiber blowers.
The newest addition, the Gulfstream 150,
will install fiber from 1 to 2.5 mm into duct
from 5 mm to 8 mm. These smaller ranges
make the GS150 perfect for enterprise and
FTTH deployments. The machined aluminum
construction provides a lightweight profile
with long-life durability. Using a belt-covered,
single drive roller, the GS 150 quickly deploys
fiber while providing the extra protection for
this delicately sized fiber.
Also suited for the FTTx and enterprise
markets, the Gulfstream 200 installs 2 mm
- 5.5 mm fiber into 5 mm-8 mm duct. The
GS200 utilizes a belt design that provides
traction control and large contact area,
which reduces pressure on the fiber while
reducing slippage during installation.
For middle-mile fiber and micro fiber in-
stallations, Condux International developed
the Gulfstream 300. Offering portability, con-
venience, and power for standard projects,
this cost-effective package will install fiber
from 3 mm to 10 mm into duct from 7 mm
to 18 mm.
Rounding out the Gulfstream family is the
long-standing Gulf-
stream 400. Built to suit
middle-mile and long-
haul installations, the
GS400 can install fiber
optic cable at speeds
approaching 300 feet
per minute. Featuring
advanced Electronic
Control Box (complete
with touch screen con-
trols and cable pressure
limit settings), the GS
400 offers superior sensi-
tivity and monitors cable
installation closely. If
problems are detected,
the machine will shut
down within one half
of a second. The GS 400
will install cable sizes
from .23 inches to 1.13
inches into duct sizes up
to 2 inches.
