GMP Introduces Heavy

Duty Stiff Spine Conduit Cleaner

G

eneral Machine Products has introduced Heavy

Duty Stiff Spine Conduit Cleaners to its line of

underground cable placement tools and equip-

ment. The Conduit Cleaners are the effective

tool for removing the toughest obstructions, like dirt,

ash, sand, oxides, and debris from utility conduits. The

cleaners are constructed with hundreds of resilient,

oil-tempered spring steel bristles that can handle any

cleaning job without damaging the conduit’s surface.

The Conduit Cleaners are offered in size ranges

from 2 to 6 inches in diameter and 4 to 5.25 inches in

length, making them useful in a variety of utility con-

duit cleaning applica-

tions. Their durable

construction provides

a work load capac-

ity of up to 1,250 lbs.

They come with pull-

ing eyes conveniently

located on either end

for pulling line at-

tachment. This makes

cleaning fast and easy in either direction. The cleaners

are designed to stand up to years of rugged use. They

are uniquely engineered with looped bristles through

the central mounting plate, rather than just affixed

as with ordinary brush cleaners. They can be used in

almost any type of utility conduit, including lead, iron,

and other metals. For fiberglass or plastic utility con-

duit applications, GMP offers less-abrasive Stiff Spine

Conduit Brushes.
