PCCA Celebrates 70th Anniversary in Sunny Aruba 9 The Power & Communication Contractors Association celebrated its 70th Annual Convention, March 6-11, in Palm Beach, Aruba, with more than 300 members and their families in attendance. The convention featured important industry education, captivating speakers, a record-breaking Auction, the Annual Associates Exhibit, the launch of the PCCA Hall of Fame, and a variety of fun-filled events where PCCA members kicked back, got to know one another better, and enjoyed each other’s company. Avoiding the Solar Cliff: New Stanford Research Offers Alternative to ITC Phase-Out 21 The prospects for the widespread adoption of solar power are sunnier than ever. Thanks to incentives and plummeting costs, the solar photovoltaic industry is experiencing dramatic growth, accounting for almost a third of new generating capacity in the U.S. in 2014, second only to natural gas. The problem is, unless there is a change to current legislation, the solar power industry in this country is headed for a cliff. This article offers a solution.
