Party at H. Toads Featuring
ButchWax & The Hollywoods
PCCA rocks the Lake! Get down, get
funky at this throw-down celebration of
all that is summer and all that is PCCA.
Kick it down at H.Toads with your old
pals and all the new friends you’ve just
made as you enjoy the fabulous Lake of
the Ozarks buffet and free-flowing bever-
ages as we build up to a private concert
by the always-jumping Butch Wax & the
Hollywoods.
Butch Wax & the Hollywoods are
celebrating their 29th year together with
one of the hottest shows around. The
ten-member band from St. Louis features
two keyboard players, three female sing-
ers, horns, and a fabulous rhythm sec-
tion that is funky, soulful, and fun—and
second to none.
Butch Wax & the Hollywoods have
been main stage performers during most
of those 29 years, sharing the stage with
the likes of Johnny Rivers, Chuck Berry,
the Young Rascals, Lou Rawls, the Guess
Who, the Association, the Nitty Gritty
Dirt Band, and countless others. Mem-
bers of the band also wrote, produced,
and recorded several tracks with Rock &
Roll Hall of Famer Johnnie Johnson on
his last album, which included perfor-
mances with Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Horn-
sby, Johnny Rivers, and John Sebastian.
Butch Wax & the Hollywoods are
regular performers at concerts, fairs,
and festivals and continue to bring their
good times and
great oldies dance
music to sold-out
crowds throughout
the United States. At the PCCA party,
you will hear great Oldies, the Motown
classics, and the very best of the ‘50s,
‘60s, and ‘70s, including Martha & the
Vandellas, Elvis, Stevie Wonder, the
Temptations, Four Tops, Johnny Rivers,
Chuck Berry, Tina Turner, Sam Cooke,

Part of the PCCA Leadership Develop-
ment Program, this session is a refresher
for those who attended the Leadership
Overview session at the PCCA Conven-
tion in March and a catch-up for those
who were unable to attend. The session
will touch on a variety of topics, includ-
ing improving your leadership skills,
knowing when to lead vs. when to man-
age, and trends in construction. Partici-
pants will discuss their Personal Action
Plans and the Performance Tool that
was emailed in June to all who attended
the March session. (New attendees will
receive all relevant materials before the
Mid-Year.)
12 - 4 pm
Lake Party at Sellenriek Cove
You’ve heard about it from friends,
maybe a few stories over a beverage,
and you’ve seen it promoted every year
during the PCCA Auction, and now you
have the opportunity to experience it
firsthand for yourself in all its summer-
time glory: Sellenriek Cove! There could
be no better way to say farewell to the
PCCA Mid-Year than a fun, relaxing day
on the Lake.
Private water taxis, speed boats, and
cruisers will pick you up at the dock
at the resort and deliver you to Sell-
enriek Cove and a private party at the
Sellenriek family lakefront home. Enjoy
cocktails on the dock, relax at a floating
picnic table, take a swim, or just relax
in the front yard. Enjoy an ice-cold beer
or some fresh lemonade, dig into a good
old-fashioned BBQ prepared on-site, and
visit with friends and colleagues in a
beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Ground
transportation will be provided for those
who prefer not to be on the water.
$75 includes roundtrip water taxi to
Sellenriek Cove, BBQ lunch, beverage, and
lakeside fun.
