professional. S+R is a logical complement to our Greenlee
Utility and Gator products and will significantly expand
Greenlee’s presence in the utility segment.”

Sherman + Reilly is a leading U.S. manufacturer of pull-
ing and stringing equipment for the power utility segment.
The company currently employs 110 people and will join the
Greenlee family of brands alongside Greenlee, Klauke, and
Greenlee Communications. In addition to its portfolio of pull-
ing products and accessories, Sherman + Reilly will continue
to manufacture a range of cable installation blocks and dis-
tribute fiber-optic blowing systems for the telecommunication
market. Sherman + Reilly will become a separate business
unit within Greenlee, led by Dunn.
Vermet Joins Utility Fleet Team
E
ffective April 1, Dominick “Nick” Vermet has been
appointed to the position of vice president - sales
& operations at Utility Fleet Sales. Utility Fleet is a
global supplier of bucket trucks, digger derricks, pressure dig-
gers, and related equipment.
Vermet’s career spans
over 30 years in the
medium and heavy-
duty truck industry and
related fields. Prior to
joining Utility Fleet, he
held many senior lead-
ership roles including
senior vice president of
Hino Trucks - A Toyota
Group Company, vice
president of sales &
marketing at Stewart &
Stevenson, senior vice
president of Detroit Die-
sel Corp., and president of DAVCO Technology. Vermet’s most
recent role was with MHC Kenworth in Dallas, Tex. In his
new role with Utility Fleet, Vermet will lead the sales division
and be responsible for continued expansion of Utility Fleet’s
remanufacturing operations.

FMI Releases Q1-2013
Construction Outlook Report
F
MI, provider of management consulting and invest-
ment banking services to the engineering and con-
struction industry, released its Q1-2013 Construction
Outlook in April. Although the strength of individual markets
is shifting, the forecast for total construction-put-in-place for
2013 continues to show an increase of 8 percent over 2012
levels. The $918,897 million estimate is a solid improvement,
but FMI does not expect to return to the days of annual con-
struction above the trillion-dollar mark until 2015.
The star of the show is residential buildings with a 23
percent rise in single-family buildings. While much of busi-
