Title: Twitter Ad Targeting

Today is our final lesson on using Twitter ads
profitably, and we are going to talk about targeting.

Twitter has arguably one of the best targeting systems
available on any of the major social network ad
platforms.

Let’s take Facebook as an example. If you aren’t targeting
anything that has an “interest” available — meaning someone
at Facebook has thought it was popular enough to add
manually as an interest, you’re pretty much screwed. The
best you can hope for is to find something reasonably similar
to target or create a lookalike audience for your page, if
you have one.

Twitter has a bunch of ways to target. You can target by
locations — anything as macro as an entire country to as
micro as a single postal code! You can target by language
spoken. You can target by gender.

But you can also target by hash tags, which is incredibly
powerful. That means you can look for trending topics that
are related to your niche and target those. It’s basically
like being able to target keywords!

BUT, there’s an even MORE powerful way to target, and that
is by targeting the fans of individual users. YES! It’s
everything we DREAMED of being able to do on Facebook, but
were never able to do!

This is a marketers wet dream!

You can find users who have a ton of followers in your
niche and then specifically market your ads DIRECTLY to
their fans!

Can you see how powerful this is?

Imagine if you’re running a small, local pizza restaurant
and being able to have a giant billboard in every single
Domino’s, Pizza Hut, and Papa John’s in your area! WOW!

I hope you see just how powerful Twitter’s platform really
is, and how you can use it to your advantage.

This concludes this lesson series. I hope you learned a lot
and will apply what you learned!

I wish you the very best.
