Title: Secrets of Effective Twitter Ads

Creating ads is NOT enough!

Your ad needs to have all the elements it takes to make
an ad successful.

It’s really not that difficult to create effective ads
on Twitter. Let’s take a look at a few important elements
that will help you create the most effective ads possible.

1. Length

Your ads should be about 120 to 140 characters in length
for maximum effectiveness. Tweets in this range had the most
engagement. Remember, 140 is the absolute limit, so don’t
sell yourself short!

2. Use Selling Words

Even if you’re not selling anything, there are words you can use
that will help increase the effectiveness of your ads.

Those words include:

* You
* New
* Free
* Now

3. Leave Prices Out

Prices in ads decrease engagement. Ads with prices in them get
30-35% fewer re-tweets. Leave the prices out! The only exception
is when you have such a low price people will want to share just
for the shock value!

4. Use Media

Always include either a card (website or app) or an image or
video in every ad. Text-only ads rarely ever do well, and it’s
important to grab all the attention you can when there’s so
much noise from other people.

Images, videos, and website and app cards can stand out and
help you get noticed, as well as providing more information
about what you’re offering!

Tomorrow we’ll wrap it up with some details on how you can use
Twitter’s incredibly accurate targeting system to drive laser
targeted traffic to your website or offers, so don’t miss it!
