Title: Setting Up A Twitter Ad

Creating your first Twitter ad is as simple as
1-2-3 —— 4. Yeah, there’s a fourth step. No big deal.

It really takes a minute or two to set up an ad.
It’s almost as quick as Tweeting. Really, it is! Stop
laughing!

Let’s take a look at the steps to creating a basic
Twitter ad.

1. Choose your ad type. Once you’ve chosen a type, the
system will ask for some basic information such as the
name of your campaign, when you want your ad to run, and
whether or not you want to use tracking via DoubleClick or
not.

2. Set a budget. You can set a daily maximum budget, which
is required, and a lifetime budget, which is optional.
You can also choose to let the system set your bid
automatically, or bid something specific.

3. Choose your creative. This is where you can choose a
creative (image, video, card, etc.) to add to your ad.
It is recommended that you ALWAYS include some sort of
creative, as ads with only text almost always get very
little attention or engagement.

Cards are a great way to increase attention on website and
app ads. A website card displays a thumbnail screenshot of
your website along with the URL, and an app card displays
a screenshot of your app along with reviews.

You can also choose to add an image or video as your
creative. Either one of these can be effective, depending
on your needs.

4. Publish Tweet. (That’s it. Just click the button and
you’re done!)

You’re probably thinking, “It can’t be that easy!”

You’d be wrong. It really is that easy. See why I say the
Twitter ad platform is just so darned impressive?
