Title: Types Of Twitter Ads

Twitter has a lot of different types of ads to choose
from. The different types of ads are each more suitable
for different purposes.

Today we’re just going to take a look at the different
types of ads. Tomorrow we will get into a more in-depth
discussion about what some of the different ad types
are most useful for.

Website Visits

This campaign is pretty self-explanatory. It will get you
visits to your website.

Followers

If you’re looking to get more followers on Twitter, this
is the right type of ad for you. It will just display your
profile as a suggestion for someone interesting to follow,
based on targeting. Simple.

Awareness

An awareness campaign is based on impressions, not results.
This means you will be paying for everyone who views your
ad, even if they don’t do anything at all.

This type of ad can still be effective, but it’s highly
recommended to only use it on Tweets that have already been
tested and proven to be effective.

Tweet Engagements

If you have a existing Tweet you’d like to get more
engagements on, this can be effective. You won’t have to
pay for impressions unless they result in engagement,
AND you won’t have to pay for any organic engagements
that happen naturally without the ad.

Video Views

If you want more views to a video or GIF, this type of
ad will do it. The video will auto-play as users scroll,
and you’ll pay for impressions, whether they convert or not.

Website Conversions

If you’re more interest in some tangle result instead of
purely traffic to your website, this ad type can help. You
won’t just pay for clicks, but you’ll be able to track your
conversions to see how well your ad is performing.

App Installs or Re-Engagements

If you have an app, you can promote it with this ad type.
It’s for getting more people to install your app, or for
getting current users to open your app again after not
doing so for a while.

Tomorrow we will take a look at how to choose between
the different ad types, so don’t miss it!
