Subject line: Acknowledging your inner critic

Hi again,

If you’ve been following along, then you’ve
written down what your inner critic says about
you and you’ve figured out what it means.

Maybe you’ve got an ingrained fear of failure.

Or perhaps you doubt yourself because others
have doubted you.

Whatever’s driving that inner critic, you’ve
identified – and that means you’re well on the
way to creating a success mindset.

It’s time to acknowledge what the inner critic
is telling you. Instead of letting it get you
down or brushing it aside, talk to it.

Silly, right? But I want you to say it out
loud, like this:

I hear what you’re telling me. I know that
there’s a chance I could fail, but that’s a
risk I’m willing to take.”

Basically, what you’re doing is thanking
your inner critic for looking out for you – and
at the same time, you’re acknowledging that
you can’t let it stop you.

You can write as many responses as you need to.

The idea is to hear what the voice is really
telling you and respond according.

Tomorrow, we’ll talk about how to create a new
script for that inner voice to use.

Until tomorrow,
