Title: Final Tips & Strategies

Hey there!

Over the last few days we've talked about the
different ways you can improve your life and
overall health.

In today's email, I'll leave you with some
final tips and strategies to living your best
life.

1: Studies have shown that one in eight older adults,
over the age of 60, have Alzheimer's disease. We all
know that some form of cognitive decline is a normal
part of aging but if you include cognitive stimulation
through active learning, you'll be able to slow cognitive
decline.

What does this mean?

You need to keep your mind sharp through regular
activities that simulate the brain.

Here's a resource page that lists 25 stimulation
activities for seniors:

2: Get enough sleep. The body must rest in order to
recharge and rejuvenate. That means it's really important
to develop a schedule or bedtime routine that makes it
possible for you to get 7-9 hours of sleep per day.

Don't overlook the importance of getting adequate sleep!

It's easy to get off track when it comes to setting a
bedtime and wake time but doing so will drastically
improve your health, including:

* Memory
* Focus
* Mental Health
* And so much more.

Getting enough sleep also means you're allowing your
body the time it needs to repair cell damage and refresh
your immune system.

3: Be Physically Active!

Staying active through regular exercise will help you
improve your strength, give you a boost of energy,
help you minimize the risks of heart disease and
diabetes and so much more.

Try to take regular walks or engage in activities
like gardening, stretching or even light strength
training.

4: Reduce Stress Levels. Whether through exercise,
or simply learning to tune things out and focus on
the positives in your life, it's important to not
only understand stress triggers but learn to properly
manage them.

Stress can lead to anxiety and depression and will
increase the aging process so look for healthy ways
that you can manage these emotions.

5: Stay Connected!
Consider joining Facebook or other social media
platforms that make it easy to connect with friends and
family.  It’s a great way to stay up to date with loved ones
from all over the country.

Or better yet, join local community programs that are
geared towards seniors and get to know people in
your area.

The more active you stay, both physically and mentally,
the happier and healthier you'll be.

I hope this email series has helped you in some way
and I wish you the very best!

All my best,
