As we age, it’s even more important to eat a healthy,
well-balanced diet and that begins by jumpstarting your day
with a great breakfast. 

Even if you’ve never been a breakfast person before, you’ll
want to do your best to kick-start the day by eating
nutrient-dense foods, such as high-fibre cereals topped with
berries.

Giving your body the right nutrients and vitamins as well as
maintaining a healthy weight can help you stay active which
will ultimately increase your lifespan!

Here are a few tips to help you create a diet geared towards
improving your overall health:  Get Enough Nutrients:
Make sure you eat a variety of food so you are getting all of
the important nutrients, including:  * Lean protein like eggs, lean meats and beans. * Fruits and vegetables
* Whole grains
* Low-fat dairy  Pay attention to Recommended Servings:

throughout the day. Coffee, tea and water are your best choices.
