Title: Travel Essentials

Hi again,

No matter if you’re traveling a few states away or across the
globe, you will want to be sure that you have brought all of
the essential items on your trip.

Essential can mean different things for each traveler but there’s
a few that you should certainly consider on your packing list
before you buckle into your next flight.

Chargers and Adapters
If you are crossing state lines you should be extra sure that you
have all of your tech chargers on hand. Be sure to bring at least two
charge blocks so that if you lose one, you have a backup on hand.

No big deal if they do get lost, most convenience stores sell low-quality
replacements for just a few dollars. Also, prepare to bring a voltage adapter
if you are traveling to another country. American outlets and European outlets
aren’t created equal and being able to check your phone or social media while
you’re away can make or break a trip for some people.

Documentation
Unfortunately, paper-based documents are still necessary in today’s virtually
paperless world. You may find yourself in a situation where your phone battery
has died and you are unable to charge it. This is where having paper documents
can be a crucial moment.

Have copies of things like:

● Boarding passes
● Itinerary
● Address of Hotels/Reservation Confirmation
● Passport

Daily Medications
Prepare for the worst when it comes to traveling. If you are going to a new
country, you should pack medications that you may need daily. Language barriers
can be a problem when you are in a pharmacy and unable to express your issues to
a pharmacist who wants to help.

You’ll then have to take a guess on which label means Advil and which means Ibuprofen.

Mediations to travel with:
● Allergy medication
● Motion sickness
● Prescription drugs
● Pain/headache relief

Small First Aid Kit
It's always best to pack a small first aid kit just in case you need it.
This would include things like bandages, Tylenol, eyedrops, scissors and
ointments.

Flashlight
Packing a small flashlight can be a lifesaver, especially if you end up
in darker areas during tours, the electricity goes out or you want to do
some nighttime exploring. Buy a lightweight flashlight that's waterproof.
You can find these at any hardware shop.

That's it for today! In tomorrow's email, I'll talk to you about how you can
stay safe during travel.

Until tomorrow,
