Title: The Secrets To Perfectly Packed Luggage

Hello,

Packing for a much-awaited vacation can be exciting. You want to bring
at least a few changes of clothes, a few pairs of shoes, extra
undergarments and everything you feel is "necessary". Before too long,
you’re filling two suitcases for a four-day getaway!

Most airlines will charge for your spare luggage as well as any
suitcase that is over its allowed weight so you'll want to make
sure to weigh your bags prior to arriving at the airport.

Packing just a carry on bag can be an easy way to save money. It’s
also a great way to keep your eye on your luggage throughout your
travels without a chance of losing it before you land.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Make a checklist

When making your list you’ll want to include the things you’ll absolutely
need. These are your top essentials: items like your passport, currency,
clothing, credit cards and medication.

The rest should stay off the list when you are just starting out. If
you have room later, you can add the non-essentials.

Having a specific checklist of travel items will help you avoid
forgetting the things you really need while freeing up your space
and ensuring you are not over the weight limit.

You also want to check the weather in the area you are visiting
so you can pack appropriate clothing. You might not need those extra
sweaters or socks if you spend most of your time in warm weather.

2. Plan Clothing Carefully

When it comes to the clothing you are packing you should work on paring
down your options. Instead of taking three different pairs of pants,
consider a pair of cargo pants and jeans that go well with any kind
of shirt style. If you can consolidate your wardrobe and make your
clothing versatile, you'll be able to limit how much you have to bring.

3. Fold and Roll

After you have smartly decided on which clothing is best to take you’ll
want to be sure you pack it right. Shoes and heavier times should go
towards the bottom so that your case doesn’t tip over. You should roll up
lighter items like shirts and shorts to save space and avoid wrinkling.

4. Group your Luggage

By segmenting your luggage, you are placing all liquid items into
separate plastic bags, grouping your luggage by type. This will make
it a lot easier if you’re asked to open your luggage for quick
inspection through customs.

5. Pack Chargers with Devices
Whenever possible, keep chargers with associated devices. If your
luggage is lost or delayed, at least you’ll still be able to use the
devices carried in your day bag.

Pack smarter for your next vacation to save time and money.
