Title: Pay to Play: Affiliate Recruitment Made Easy

Hello,

Hi there,

We’ve yet to talk about purchasing ads in
order to reach new partners and affiliates.

While many people would prefer to take a
grassroots approach when recruiting affiliates,
while there are many effective ways to get it
done that won’t cost you a dime, paid ads can
speed up the process and get your offer in
front of a wider audience.

So, crunch some numbers and determine if you
have the budget needed for onboarding super
affiliates.

Make sure you have a marketing strategy in
place before you begin and stick to your budget!

One of the best platforms to use when setting
up paid advertisements that reach the best
affiliates in your market is Facebook.

It’s a great testing ground that offers
simplified marketing campaigns so even if
you’re brand new to creating paid ads, their
interface will guide you through every step of
the way.

You’ll want to start by creating a Facebook-centric
affiliate landing page. While Facebook is a great
lead generation tool you’ll want to direct traffic
to a landing page on your own hosting platform.

That gives you the control you need while funnelling
qualified affiliate leads into your mailing list.

Your landing page needs to be clear and direct
(and also simple). Introduce your affiliate program,
highlight the greatest benefits of joining
including your commission structure, cookie
lifespan and payment schedule.

Give them an easy way to contact you, persuade
them to join your affiliate mailing list and
provide them with the tools and resources they
need to promote your product.

If you don’t have a product ready for market,
just funnel them into a mailing list dedicated
to affiliates and joint venture partnerships so
you can follow up when you’re ready to go.

The simplest way to promote your affiliate program
is to create a post about it, with a link to your
landing page and then boost the post. You can set
whatever budget you choose as well as a timeline
for when your ad will run.

Boosting posts is an easy way to dip your toes
into Facebook advertising without having to deal
with any complicated learning curve and it’s a
great way to increase visibility and connect with
potential marketing partners.

Tips:

Over half of all internet traffic takes place
via mobile devices. That means you’ll want to
make sure your ad looks good on a mobile device.

You can do this easily by previewing it on the
“Mobile News Feed” tab.

Facebook ads will automatically run on Instagram
as well, however if you wish to run your ads on
Facebook only you can uncheck the Instagram box
to exclude it from your ad campaign.

Start with a small test spend of $20-50 so you can
determine whether an increase in your marketing
budget is worthwhile. Smaller test spends will
also help you try out different boosted posts to
determine what people best respond to.

Give it a try!

In tomorrow’s email, I’ll give you a list of top
networks that you can join in order to put your
offer in front of potentially thousands of affiliates.

Keep an eye out for it!

Until then,
