Global Machinery Appoints
Jeff Brown as President
I
n a key management change,
Jeff S. Brown has been
appointed the president of
Global Machinery Holdings Ltd.
Brown is a 1997 graduate of the
Colorado School of Mines with
a degree in engineering. Before
joining Global Machinery, he
held positions as technical sales
representative and manufacturing
engineer.
Jeff succeeds Dale Brown, who
said, “I am extremely pleased to make this announcement as
Jeff has demonstrated his knowledge and commitment to the
utilities industry, a major requirement to respond to opportu-
nities and growth occurring in this business sector. Jeff has
been with Global Machinery over 12 years and his perfor-
mance in the positions of rental manager, sales representa-
tive, sales manager, and general manager have prepared him
well for his new role. “
Global Machinery rents, sells, services, and distributes
utility construction equipment used by contractors, utility
companies, and municipalities to install and maintain all
utilities—telecom, power and electric, gas, water, and sewer.
Doolin Joins Utility Fleet Team
E
ffective February 8, Dave
Doolin has been appointed
as division manager—rental
& outside sales at Utility Fleet. Util-
ity Fleet specializes in the sales and
rental of bucket trucks, digger der-
ricks, pressure diggers, line stringing
gear, and related equipment. It serves
customers in all 50 U.S. states and 24
countries.
Doolin’s career spans nearly 20 years in the utility con-
struction equipment industry, where he has continually
served clients in numerous states, including Texas, Louisiana,
Oklahoma, and Missouri. Before joining Utility Fleet, he
served as a regional manager at NESCO. In his new role, Doo-
lin will lead the Rental & Outside Sales Division, while still
directly serving his own account relationships.
“I look forward to working with such a customer-focused
company as Utility Fleet,” Doolin said. “The professionalism
and expertise of the Utility Fleet team is exceptional, and I
know they will do whatever it takes to meet the needs of our
customers.”
Greenlee Promotes
Within its Sales Leadership
G
reenlee, a Textron
company, has an-
nounced several
promotions within its sales
and marketing structure with Denis Hanna, Joel Smith, Tim
Vanderaa, Kim Schleiff, and Becky Neys taking on new or
expanded roles, effective immediately.
“These new sales leadership roles are critical to our contin-
ued success,” said Doug Eichner, Greenlee senior vice presi-
dent and general manager, Electrical Division. “We’ve made
significant progress reaching our customers in 2013. In order
to progress to the next level we need to refine our organiza-
tional structure and continue to focus on delivering compel-
ling solutions focused around our key value statement: faster,
safer, and easier.”
Hanna becomes director of sales, utility, and Smith is now
director of contractor development. Vanderaa is director of
sales - distribution, Schleiff is director, marketing and retail,
and Neys is the national sales manager - retail.
Vermeer Launches Navigator
Nation Website for HDD Contractors

ermeer launched an all-new Navigator Nation web-
site designed to be a social media channel where
horizontal directional drill (HDD) professionals can
share information with each other to enhance the profes-
sion and the industry. The new website has been completely
redesigned to be a sharing platform for HDD contractors all
over the globe.
“There isn’t another website in the industry like Naviga-
tor Nation,” said Jason Zylstra, Vermeer brand marketing
manager. “The website is accessible to any HDD professional
and not just Vermeer customers. Our goal was to create a
