As federal lawmakers reform regulations relating to rural
broadband deployment, it is useful to revisit the policies that
brought telephone service to the far reaches of the nation
and to ensure that the same success can be found as America
moves toward a broadband future. NTCA’s Josh Seidemann
provides a thorough overview of this important issue.
In March, 260 power and communications professionals and
their families headed for the hills outside of San Antonio
for the 67
th
annual PCCA Convention. At the fabulous Hyatt
Regency Hill Country, PCCA members exchanged valuable
information, attended topical education sessions, enjoyed
captivating speakers, learned about the latest products and
services, caught up with old friends, made some new ones,
and enjoyed a wide variety of fun-filled events.
By Dan Levac
Longtime PCCA member Dan Levac believes there are many
ways for Associate members to get their membership dues
back at PCCA. Much like the lottery, he says, you have to
be in it to win it. In this article, he provides specific ideas to
enhance your membership with PCCA.
