cab. The new tilt cab has been designed around
three defining principles of quality: functional
performance, ergonomic excellence, and safety.
The new cab is designed with a curved glass viewing area
to offer crane operators better visibility and less neck strain.
The new hydraulic system allows the operator to adjust the
angle of the tilt cab from 0 to 20 degrees.
Key features include curved glass for better visibility, 0- to
20-degree cab tilt for better visibility and less strain, auto-
motive door, reduced noise, heated cloth seat with 8 seat
adjustments, sliding windows on both sides of cab, rear pop-
out window, top-hinged hatch, standard diesel fired heater,
and retractable sun screen. The cab also features 12-volt DC
outlet for cell phone chargers, E-coated cab for extended rust
prevention, PLC crane controller, CANBUS communication,
J1939 truck engine communication capability, hand throttle
in addition to the standard foot throttle, Load Moment Indica-
tor System, Hirschmann/PAT iScout D3, and bright 7-inch
color display.

lineup just got bigger as the company recently
developed a new KUV model compatible with
single rear wheel cutaway chassis, the KU-
V129SHK. With this addition, Knapheide now offers three dif-
ferent KUV models compatible with single rear wheel chassis:
KUV129SUK, KUV129SLK, and KUV129SHK.
The new KUV offers the same standard features as other
KUV models but has more than 75 inches of interior cargo
height. Other popular standard features include two con-
duit chutes with two shelves each for convenient transport
of copper pipes, PVC, and conduit, continuous stainless
steel hinges and hat section double-reinforced compartment
doors, and a spacious internal cargo area. A master locking
system locks down all side compartments with one motion
for an extra layer of security. The new model also features
250-pound-capacity adjustable divider shelves, and stainless
